Representatives of the Branch in international scientific project

Delegation of Tashkent branch of REU after G.V. Plekhanov took part in DAAD project "Business ethics in the conditions of sustainable textile production" in Dresden (Germany), within the framework of which seminars were organized with students and teachers to study the experience of German textile enterprises and develop theoretical and practical aspects of business ethics in Germany.

All participants of DAAD project attended opening ceremony of the workshop: 2 universities from Germany, 2 universities from Uzbekistan, and German-Jordanian University. At the opening ceremony, Vice-rector for Research and Teaching Prof. Dr. Sonntag stressed university's achievements and its development in the direction of "study-based learning", which implies involvement of students in the study from the first years of study and strengthens the link between the learning process and research projects aimed at solving specific problems of practice.

Nils Dahne - project coordinator told about further development of the project for the next years. As Project Leader Prof. Hundt noted: "... it is gratifying that students and teaching staff have opportunity to participate in DAAD project and in 2018. According to the information received from DAAD, project's work has been approved and funding will continue for the next year. "

Further on the seminars Prof. Dr. Gerard Lewis from UK, guest professor at Dresden University of Applied Sciences. Theme - "Business ethics: fundamentals in the context of international strategic management". This lecture aroused great interest among all participants of the project Prof. Lewis spoke about historical, cultural, social aspects of business ethics, about current trends in sustainable development of textile industry in various countries.

Head of the delegation of Tashkent Branch of REU after G.V. Plekhanov associate professor Akhmedov O.M. made a presentation on "Case Study Development Methodology" designed to develop skills of case study development by students and teaching staff.

Participants of the workshop, or more precisely of working together within the framework of the planned topics of discussion, 1st group of economic students: Lisa Urban (Germany, Dresden University of Applied Sciences), Saidaabror Kalandarkhonov (Uzbekistan, Tashkent Branch of REU after G.V. Plekhanov), Asil K.I. Far (Jordan, German-Jordanian University) made a presentation on ecological foundations, values ​​in textile industry, application of international quality standards, involvement of resources to create conditions for sustainable development of textile enterprises.

An expert from Dresden University of Applied Sciences prof. Mr. Göstring in the field of logistics and creation of value chain continued discussion about value for the buyer of clothes made from cotton or mixed fibers.

2nd working economic group involved: Anna Borisenko (Germany, Dresden University of Applied Sciences), Akmal Erdashev (Uzbekistan, Tashkent Branch), Hala Abu Halimah (Jordan, German-Jordanian University). Seminar began with a presentation by Prof.Dr. Haubold of Dresden University of Applied Sciences in the field of human resources management. Then students told project participants about completed tasks and results of the joint study.

The 3rd group of economists: Tom Macha (Germany, Dresden University of Applied Sciences), Jasur Ulmasov (Uzbekistan, Tashkent Branch of REU after G.V. Plekhanov), Durrah Mohammed (Jordan, German-Jordanian University) spoke about their positions in the field of sustainable development of textile industry and the role of brand management for textile products.

Next presentation was dedicated to design of textile products, which was attended by students from Namangan State University and European University of Flensburg.
